
Manda Bwerevu
CEO, Kuleta
Born in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo, and raised in South Africa and the United States, Manda Bwerevu is an entrepreneur and policy advocate specializing in economic development, education policy, and international development.
Manda holds a Master's of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School, where he completed the Pearson Fellowship at the Pearson Institute for the Study and Resolution of Conflict, and a Master's in Education Policy and Analysis from Harvard University, where he served as an Equity and Inclusion Fellow. He earned his bachelor's degree in Communications and Philosophy, Politics, and Law from USC in 2020.
Currently, Manda is the CEO of Kuleta, a social venture connecting women vendors in Africa with global consumers of African non-perishable products. Kuleta has been recognized by the Obama Foundation Scholars Program, University of Chicago Booth Social New Venture Challenge, Clinton Global Initiative University, and Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurship program. Through its philanthropy arm Kuza Dada, Kuleta has trained and onboarded approximately 120 women vendors in Kenya, with a U.S. consumer launch planned for fall 2025.
Manda actively collaborates with Congolese advocates on projects ranging from community education about the DRC to engaging government officials on policies protecting Congolese interests globally.
