Bibi Ndala is a public health leader bridging policy, advocacy, and grassroots impact across two continents. She holds a Master of Public Health from New York University, specializing in Global Public Health, where she developed expertise in health systems strengthening and community-based interventions.
As a Research Analyst for the City of New York, Bibi designs and implements data-driven public health initiatives that improve health outcomes for diverse urban populations. Her analytical work directly informs municipal health policy and program development across New York's five boroughs.
Committed to advancing Congolese interests globally, Bibi serves as NYC Coordinator for Friends of the Congo, where she mobilizes advocacy efforts, coordinates community engagement, and amplifies awareness of social justice issues affecting the Democratic Republic of Congo and its diaspora.
Recognizing the critical need for maternal health support in the DRC, Bibi founded ELAKA, an organization dedicated to educating and empowering expecting mothers through culturally responsive programming. ELAKA addresses significant gaps in maternal and newborn health resources, working directly with communities to improve health outcomes during pregnancy and childbirth.
